Dr Nivedita Kumar is currently based in Bangalore, India and has international clinical and private practice experience, having trained at University of Michigan and Louisiana State University in USA and having practiced in Michigan for 15 plus years Her primary specialization and initial clinical practice was in Periodontics and Implant dentistry but eventually her special interest in sleep medicine prompted her to explore this relatively new field in dentistry.
Dr Nivedita brings a lot of practical knowledge with up-to-date scientific information, to her courses. The past years, she has dedicated a majority of her clinical practice time to sleep medicine having set up a Sleep Center which practices a wholistic collaborative approach to management of Sleep Related Breathing Disorders and other sleep disorders. She has also set up a Sleep lab for sleep studies and has started NK’s Sleepwell Technologies, a go to center for solutions for dentists practicing Dental Sleep Medicine. This is the first of its kind in India. Dr Nivedita (also known as Dr Nivi ) is eager to share this knowledge and help other dentists implement sleep apnea treatment within their practices and help save lives.
